Those of the House and Hold

Though the hold is not heavily staffed there is always someone about to meet your need, be it Boggan, guard or member of the family. Some of the figures one might meet in or about the Freehold are:

Countess Amber

Count Topaz
Inseparable and totally devoted to one another, the emerald eyed golden-haired twins complement each other completely. Sword and sorcery mingle between the two making a formidable pair. The hold is shared by the young Beaumayn siblings, equally, and all who know them, acknowledge this balance.
Sir Mahieu
Honored friend and confidant, advisor and coach, Mahieu sought the twins as soon as word got out they they were of his House. A special bond formed, and although his duty is to seek and tutor others of his House, he returns to the Castle of Stars, as it is now his home.
Warlord Orel
"Ice flows through his veins" "he would send his own mother into war" "cold hearted bastard" "Incredible tactician" These are just a few of the rumors that surround this enigmatic Warlord. First Man to Duke Ewan, Duke Ewan chose him for a political marriage with Countess Amber, and oddly enough, after much deliberation, the young Countess accepted, for a year and a day.
William Worthwood
This bright eyed boggan joined the household, offering vassalage as well as taking on the position of Butler and Steward. Hope you have time, he loves talking of the hold, his lieges, and taking you on a tour of the entire place. Would you like to see the gardens….again?
Berry
One can often hear the sound of laughter and shouting coming from the area of the kitchen, but the true focus is the incredible aroma coming from within. Salivating yet? Berry will make your mouth and tummy very happy. This Grandame Boggan first came to aid the twins in the Eye, as "everyone knows you can't even fix a good peanut butter sandwich" The adoration went both ways, and Berry traveled across the country the moment she heard of the founding of the new hold.
Baxter
Every hold needs a piskie right? Right? Well, it was a definite matter of "Topaz, Topaz he followed me home can I keep him?" On one of Amber's sojourns, she happened across a Redcap who had Baxter, not so happily, in tow. After a few words and a few cantrips, the pair fled for the safety of The Eye of the Unicorn, and, well, Baxter never left. By the way…is this your watch?
